Raised in Watertown, Mass. (just outside of Boston), with four brothers and one sister, he and his siblings played sports extensively, including baseball, golf and tennis. In his tennis club, he had the opportunity to be around a lot of attorneys and decided at the age of 14 that their profession would be a good fit for him.
He finished his undergraduate degree and began law school at Florida State University before joining the Air Force, which transferred him to the Little Rock Air Force Base. He finished out his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Little Rock where he met his wife Betsy, whom he calls his personal hero, “She is special. She is just a good person and does everything right.”
The power couple have encouraged each other in pursuit of the same profession as they work tirelessly to assist fellow Arkansans and deliver justice. Now their son Erik has followed the family career path and founded Danielson Law Firm, PLLC.
After retiring in 2016 from serving on the Arkansas Supreme Court for 10 years, Paul came into practice with his son, wife and brother in 2017. He and Betsy operate out of Booneville (go Bearcats!) and make frequent trips up to the flagship office in Fayetteville.
He had the good fortune to law clerk on the supreme court right out of law school, then practiced privately for 18 years. He served as a trial judge for 12 years and then on Arkansas Supreme court for 10. Practicing in a small town, he sees clients for essentially all common areas of law, such as divorce, property line and contract disputes. He has also served as an instructor for the University of Arkansas School of Law.
On the weekends, you can find Paul on the family pine tree farm, enjoying time with his family and snacking on movie theater popcorn.
